Keara is a theatre maker who specializes in acting, singing, writing, with a passion for education, directing, and design.
Keara is an NYC-based performer who graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied acting and multi-disciplinary theatre at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, film & TV at Stonestreet Studios, and spent a semester studying advanced playwriting at NYU London.
Keara loves storytelling in all its forms and finds herself most at home collaborating in a rehearsal room or working things out on set. She is passionate about translating the human experience to the stage or screen and exploring and expanding the possibilities of these mediums.
When not acting she can often be found leading workshops and teaching educational programming for institutions such as Shakespeare on the Sound. She is passionate about bringing theatre to classrooms as a tool for greater understanding and discussion, as well as a textbook for empathy and storytelling in daily life.
Charming, witty and fun, Keara is your ride or die (who’d rather not die!).
She’s the best friend you could want - whether she’s the straight man to your comedic troubles, or the wacky one with all the best (and worst) ideas who is taking the wheel. She can think on her feet or trip over them.
She’s always the one ready to be by your side (and she’ll be there 15 minutes early with an iced coffee in hand).
